As a Solar Electrician Apprentice
, you will work under the supervision of experienced electricians and technicians to learn the skills necessary for installing and maintaining solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. This apprenticeship will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of electrical systems, solar technology, and safety practices in the renewable energy field.
Mars Energy will cover the cost of apprenticeship enrollment, computer/books, and class time as well as provide on-site training for 40 hours per week.

• Assist in the installation of solar panels, inverters, and related electrical systems.
• Learn to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical documentation.
• Support troubleshooting and repair of solar PV systems.
• Participate in testing electrical systems for functionality and safety.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills in solar technology.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
• MUST have reliable transportation and tools necessary to complete electrical tasks.

• High school diploma required
• Electrical fundamentals training preferred
• OSHA 10
  preferred

• General construction experience required
• Solar experience strongly preferred

• Ability to report to each job site
  -Reliable transportation and tools necessary to complete electrical tasks
• Ability to work on rooftops of any height and pitch
• Ability to lift, pull, and push materials up to 70lbs. to complete assigned job task
• Possesses strong teamwork skills
• Possesses strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to pass criminal background check

• A clean driving record and valid driver's license.
