Summary
As a Material Handler, you will support shipping and warehouse operations by accurately packaging products, maintaining inventory and shipping supplies, and ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and environmental requirements. You will work independently within procedures while coordinating with internal departments and external carriers to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant shipments. This contributes to efficient material flow, accurate documentation, and overall team success.
PrimaryResponsibilities
- Package products for shipment in accordance with established procedures and requirements.
- Perform routine data entry related to shipments, inventory, and documentation.
- Monitor and replenish bin inventory levels in shipping areas as needed.
- Track and manage shipping supplies; prepare purchase requisitions to maintain adequate stock.
- Maintain and update log books for Bills of Material (BOMs) and drawings.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external carriers to resolve shipment‑related questions requiring explanation or approval.
- Operate consistently from established procedures while meeting daily operational needs.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Actively contribute to overall team objectives and workflow.
- Strictly comply with quality, occupational safety, and environmental regulations.
- Follow instructions from Quality, Environmental, and Occupational Safety representatives.
- Maintain accurate shipping and inventory documentation.
- Support cross‑functional communication related to shipping activities.
- Identify discrepancies in inventory or documentation and escalate as appropriate.
- Maintain an organized and safe shipping and warehouse environment.
- Accuracy of packaged and shipped product.
- Timeliness of order fulfillment and shipments.
- Inventory accuracy and availability of shipping supplies.
- Compliance with quality, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Effective collaboration with internal teams and carriers.
- High school diploma or equivalent (reading, writing, and basic math skills required).
- Less than one year of related experience required.
- Previous warehouse or shipping experience preferred.
- Basic computer and data entry skills.
- Ability to follow written procedures and instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as required.
- On‑site presence required to support shipping and receiving.

PayHourly pay range: 18.35 to 27.45. Pay will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to location, relevant skills, training, experience, and education.
