Job Description The Rockport Public School District serves approximately 650 PreK-12th grade students on a two-building campus located in the picturesque coastal community of Rockport, MA which is 40 miles northeast of Boston at the tip of Cape Ann. The Rockport Public Schools is seeking a highly-skilled, dynamic elementary school special education teacher who possesses superior content knowledge, effective pedagogical skills, excellent communication skills, an enthusiasm for learning, and the desire to maximize the learning potential of all students. The successful candidate will serve as a liaison and a key member of their students’ special education Teams; and provide direct services in a variety of settings such as co-taught, inclusion, and small group.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the desire and ability to collaborate with colleagues to foster an inclusionary culture that allows each member of our learning community to feel a sense of belonging that is grounded in social emotional safety, impactful relationships, and personalized growth.
