• Support and uphold the philosophy of Catholic ministry and the mission of the Diocese of Corpus Christi in both professional and personal life.
• Act as a witness to Gospel values by modeling the teachings of the Catholic Church.
• Continuously grow in the ministry by participating in religious ceremonies, training sessions, and reflection activities as directed.
• Use a variety of instructional techniques and media to meet the needs and improve the abilities of students in academic growth.
• Manage the classroom and instruct students to meet the needs at their levels to view growth.
• Work with other members of school staff to plan and implement instructional goals and objectives to ensure the overall educational development of all students.
• Keep all information about individual students confidential and promote student growth emotionally and academically.
• Ensure all student expectations and progress are clearly communicated to students and parents.
• Monitor and support student academic growth.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to carry, pull, push, lift, or move objects 10 pounds or more.
• Regular bending, stooping, kneeling, crawling, turning, reaching, climbing, and balancing.
• Ability to maintain composure under duress.
• Maintain confidentiality.

• Demonstrates a professional attitude as a member of diocesan staff.
• Maintains confidentiality in matters of assigned department and the diocese.
• Serves as a representative of the diocese displaying courtesy, tact, positivity, and discretion in all interactions with colleagues and community served.

• Bachelor's Degree.
• 12 credit hours in education courses or a valid, appropriate state certificate.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the subject matter.
• Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with diocesan policies and procedures.
• Valid Texas driver's license.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• 3 years preferred, not required.

• Strong oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• General classroom management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
• Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and members of the community.

• Full‑time, contract position.
• Exempt position.

• Must successfully complete pre‑employment screening including criminal history background check, motor vehicle record review (MVR), and drug screening.
• Certification in Safe Environment training provided by the Office for Safe Environment and Child & Family Resources is required.
