Housekeeper, Hospitality ​/ Hotel ​/ Catering

The Housekeeper position at VTrips is responsible for providing high-quality cleaning services in vacation rental properties, ensuring adherence to company standards.

• Provide high-quality cleaning services, ensuring completion of all arrival or departure cleaning tasks, and adherence to standard unit appearance
• Provide prompt follow-up if cleaning problems are reported by inspectors or guests
• Discover, document, and communicate all maintenance, condition, or safety issues to management immediately
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, paying special attention to health and/or safety training issues
• Maintain professional, courteous behavior and habits when interacting with co-workers, managers, guests and owners
• Secure all keys/passes issued, as well as all keys left in homes and return them to the office at the end of each day
• Responds promptly to requests from guests internally.
• Delivers items to guests, housekeeping staff, and maintenance in a timely manner.
• May be required to assist in general housekeeping duties such as cleaning hot tubs, bathrooms, kitchens, and making beds.
• May be required to assist other departments as needed.
• Complete requests and upload photos to our PMS software.
• Performs other duties which may be assigned by a supervisor.

Requirements:

• 6 months of experience in the hospitality field with working knowledge of housekeeping, maintenance, and hospitality standards
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
• Professional with the ability to be functional in a team environment, capable of taking direction and making good decisions under minimum supervision.
• Attention to detail, excellent time management, organization, and communication skills
• Microsoft and other computer knowledge
• Ability to work a varied schedule, particularly weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stoop, bend, stretch, twist, stand, climb stairs, and reach as needed
• Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) preferred
