Position: Hallmark Field Merchandiser (part-time) Rockport, TX 78382

Job Overview

As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, and establish retailer relationships while being the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations as needed. Occasionally, you may also work with other companies’ products in the stores you service.

  • Your starting hourly pay rate will be $12.00-$14.00 depending on your skills and experience.
  • Paid training is provided through live, hands‑on instruction and virtual classroom sessions.

Your Role and Responsibilities
  • Day‑to‑day engagement: Using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, you will restock, organize, and monitor inventory of Hallmark products inside and outside the Hallmark department. You must communicate with your supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and complete required merchandising surveys. Professional and courteous interaction with store employees, management, and customers is vital. You are responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at your assigned stores.
  • Holiday support: During the lead‑up and aftermath of holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, you can expect additional days and extended hours. On occasions such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and Father’s Day, you may be required to work on the actual holiday or weekend.
  • Department resets: You may be part of a team responsible for installing fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections. Two weeks’ notice will be provided for remodel assignments, which may include evenings or weekends.
  • One Team Vision: As part of Hallmark’s field organization, you are part of a network of merchandisers who often support each other across territories.
  • Physical Requirements

    This is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of energy and a sense of urgency. You must consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds throughout the workday and up to 50 pounds on occasion. You must also kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout your shift, and you may be required to climb stairs and step ladders.

    Qualifications
    • At least 18 years of age.
    • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
    • Can grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
    • Able to operate a digital hand‑held device to open and read documents and interpret information.
    • Access to a Wi‑Fi network and internet.
    • Reliable transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.

    Part‑time employees with a work schedule less than 30 hours have access to a variety of voluntary benefits, including dental, vision, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, and minimum essential coverage (preventive care).
