Math Adjunct Faculty

The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Molloy University invites applications for introductory courses in mathematics starting Fall 2026.

The adjunct faculty members are responsible for:

* Teach assigned mathematics courses as scheduled.

* Prepare course materials and assessments in accordance with department standards.

* Maintain accurate student records, including grades and attendance.

* Provide timely feedback and support to students.

* Participate in required training or meetings as needed.

The ideal candidate will possess the ability to relate well to a diverse population of community learners.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Master's degree in mathematics or a closely related field

* Experience in teaching introductory courses such as Elementary Statistics and Pre
- Calculus

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Ph.D. in Mathematics

* Teaching experience at the college level

SALARY INFORMATION

When determining the salary offer for a new employee, Molloy considers several key characteristics such as discipline specific knowledge, skills, education and experience as well as internal and external equity. The salary range for this position is $1,175.00 per credit (Undergraduate Instructor). This hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation at the time of posting.
