Accountant, Financial Reporting, Accounting Manager

Overview

We are seeking a highly capable Accountant to join a growing, collaborative organization of approximately 20 employees. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who thrives in a small-company environment, understands the hands‑on nature of lean teams, and is comfortable balancing both traditional accounting functions and higher-level analytical responsibilities.

This position requires someone who can confidently manage day‑to‑day accounting tasks while also contributing to forecasting, reporting, and cross‑functional projects. The right candidate will be detail‑oriented, intellectually curious, and adaptable.

• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end close processes
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and reconciliations
• Support financial reporting activities
• Perform financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting support
• Build and maintain Excel‑based financial models and reporting tools
• Assist with operational and ad hoc projects across departments
• Identify process improvements and efficiency enhancements

• 2+ years of accounting experience
• Strong hands‑on experience with AP, AR, and journal entries
• Proficiency in Quick Books
• Advanced Excel skills (must be able to clearly articulate specific functions, tools, and applications used in daily work — simply stating “proficient” is not sufficient)
• Comfortable working in a small, fast‑paced organization where responsibilities extend beyond a strict job description
• Willingness to handle both routine accounting tasks and more complex financial analysis
