Financial Reporting, Senior Accountant, Financial Analyst
LHH is supporting a growing outsourced accounting organization in their search for a Senior Accountant. The firm is continuing to expand its accounting function and is seeking a Senior Accountant to play a hands‑on role in day‑to‑day accounting execution while partnering closely with internal leadership and team members to maintain accuracy, consistency, and service quality across clients with sophisticated financial requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Record and post accounting entries related to operating activity, trusts, and charitable entities
- Completes monthly bank, cash, and balance sheet reconciliations using underlying support
- Track account balances and cash activity on a daily and weekly basis to ensure sufficient liquidity
- Review, process, and reconcile credit card and expense transactions
- Evaluate expense coding and classifications for appropriateness and consistency
- Resolve and reconcile balances across affiliated or related entities
- Coordinate with colleagues to meet internal service standards and reporting timelines
- Escalate discrepancies, issues, or unusual items to managers as needed
- Assist with special projects and initiatives focused on improving workflows and scalability
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, economics, or a comparable discipline
- Working knowledge of core accounting concepts and financial processes
- Strong quantitative skills with the ability to analyze and interpret financial data
- Detail-focused mindset with the discipline to independently review work for accuracy
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, deadline‑oriented environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort adapting to new systems and tools
- Proactive, dependable professional with a collaborative and service‑driven approach
- Demonstrated ownership, integrity, and interest in continuous process improvement

This posting is a representative sample of the types of roles we typically place with our clients. Depending on the specific client, location, and role, the base salary range is estimated to be $85,000 to $95,000 and benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan.
