• Perform data entry and maintain accurate records within accounting software such as Quick Books, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms.
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
• Support general ledger accounting activities including journal entries, account analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Help prepare financial statements, reports, and documentation in compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and governmental accounting standards.
• Reconcile accounts regularly to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy across all financial records.
• Collaborate with the team on payroll management using systems like ADP, Kronos, Ulti Pro, or Ceridian to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time.
• Contribute to internal audits by supporting SOX compliance procedures and assisting with audit documentation requests.
• Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish to coordinate with team members, vendors, and clients seamlessly.

• Proven experience working with accounting software such as Quick Books, Sage, Xero, People Soft, or similar financial management tools.
• Familiarity with corporate accounting principles including GAAP, governmental accounting standards, and technical accounting concepts.
• Prior experience in payroll management systems like ADP or Ulti Pro is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of accounts payable/receivable processes, account reconciliation techniques, and journal entry preparation.
• Strong understanding of financial concepts such as balance sheet reconciliation, debits & credits, double-entry bookkeeping, and account analysis.
• Experience working within public accounting firms or non-profit organizations is a plus.
• Excellent math skills combined with attention to detail for accurate data entry and financial analysis.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required to effectively serve diverse teams and stakeholders.
