Our client, a well-established government contracting firm in Rockville, MD is looking for a Senior Accountant to join its finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone with Gov Con accounting experience who wants to deepen their expertise in cost accounting and compliance work.
Responsibilities- Manage general ledger accounting and lead month-end/year-end close
- Perform account reconciliations and intercompany transactions
- Support incurred cost submissions and cost-plus contract accounting
- Partner with program and contracts teams on compliance-related accounting matters
- Required:
Government contracting accounting experience and hands-on Costpoint experience - 3+ years of accounting experience - public accounting with Gov Con clients, or a mix of public/corporate accounting
- Preferred:
Familiarity with incurred cost submissions and cost-plus contract structures
The role offers hybrid schedule - 2 days/week in the Rockville office.
