Senior Tax Accountant

A well-established CPA firm in Rockville, MD is looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join its growing tax team. • Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses
• Work with a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries
• Assist with tax planning, research, and advisory projects
• Review financial information and supporting documentation for tax compliance
• Communicate directly with clients and provide guidance on tax matters
• Identify potential tax issues and opportunities
• Assist with complex tax projects and special assignments
• Collaborate with Managers and Partners on client engagements
• Mentor and support junior accounting staff

• 3+ years of experience in public accounting and tax
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax compliance
• Experience preparing business and individual tax returns
• CPA or CPA eligibility strongly preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple client engagements and deadlines
• Proficiency with tax and accounting software

$90,000–$115,000 base salary + bonus
