Revenue Manager

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Revenue Manager in Rockville, MD.

Summary:

Our client is seeking an experienced Revenue Manager to oversee revenue operations, ensure accurate and timely billing and collections, and manage the end-to-cash process. This role will lead revenue reporting, reconciliations, issue resolution, and process improvements while partnering closely with Accounting, Finance, and Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own month-end and quarter-end revenue recognition
• Oversee daily revenue operations, billing, and cash application
• Manage the end-to-end order-to-cash and revenue cycle processes
• Review revenue transactions and ensure accurate recognition and reporting
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Monitor accounts receivable, collections, and outstanding balances
• Support month-end close and revenue reporting
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and GAAP
• Identify opportunities to improve revenue processes and automation

• 6+ years of progressive revenue accounting or order-to-cash experience
• 2+ years of leadership or management experience
• Experience with billing, AR, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of revenue recognition and GAAP
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
