* SUMMARY:

** The Project Accountant performs a variety of tasks related to the maintenance and processing of project cost and payment records, including providing overall support to operations staff with financial details.##
*
* MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

*** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent years of relevant experience
* Two (2) to four (4) years of Accounting experience
* Public accounting experience preferred
* Construction industry experience a plus
* Decision making, research and analytical problem-solving skills
* Time management skills with the ability to organize, assess and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and demands
* Ability to work independently
* CMiC software experience a plus
* Able to quickly learn and understand new software and systems##
** TECHNICAL JOB KNOWLEDGE:
*** Independently updates existing account reconciliation and analysis templates (over / under billing, closeout reports, negative cash, prepaids, accruals)
* Efficiently produces work deliverables in CMiC
* Applies general knowledge of GAAP developed through education or experience to correctly record accruals, prepaids, over / under billing adjustments
* Reviews, validates, and analyzes CMiC reporting (PSRs / Invoices to be posted, expense reimbursements, GL account balances)
* Creates accurate schedules and submits to Management
* Applies general knowledge of excel to update recurring or ad hoc excel schedules##
