The Office of Enrollment Management welcomes applications for the Administrative Assistant 3 position. The Administrative Assistant 3 (AA3) provides specialized administrative support for the multi-campus UNLV/CSN Transfer Program by coordinating daily operations, managing schedules, and facilitating communication among staff and student leaders. Oversees advising appointments, maintains student records across systems, and serves as a primary point of contact, responding to inquiries and directing students to appropriate resources.
Supports program tracking and prepares meeting materials, minutes, and follow-ups. Supports budget and payroll activities by monitoring expenses, processing purchases, and ensuring compliance with institutional policies. Supervises and trains student workers and assists with office operations. Coordinates logistics for events and outreach, including planning, promotion, and execution in collaboration with campus partners. Maintains organized documentation and data systems to support reporting, transfer processes, and program effectiveness.

Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment criminal background and/or credit check.
Minimum QualificationsGraduation from high school or equivalent education and three years of progressively responsible relevant work experience which included experience in one or more of the following areas: maintenance of complex records and files; public/customer relations including explaining detailed policies, regulations and requirements; preparation and processing of financial and statistical documents such as payroll, travel, claims and budgeting forms; and assisting staff and management with projects and activities;
OR one year of experience as an Administrative Assistant II in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience as described above.

SalaryGrade 27 Step 1, salary $46,207.44.
