LOCATION OF POSITION Baltimore City - 6776 Reisterstown Rd, Baltimore, MD 21215

Main Purpose of Job The main purpose of this position is to provide professional administrative support services for the Data Management Unit related to incarcerated individuals records, facility population counts, audits and individual system access requirements. This will include the assisting, coordinating, compiling and processing data in accordance with the responsibilities assigned to the Data Management Unit. This position acts as the incarcerated individual locator for the public and various state agencies via, phone email and fax correspondences.

Processing of local agency reimbursement of jail bills received for incarcerated individuals maintained in their facilities. This position also assists with the preparation of training materials and classes hosted by the data management unit.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education:

    Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
  • Experience:

    One year of experience performing administrative staff, clerical, clerical technical, or secretarial work.

Notes

  • Candidates may substitute 30 credit hours from an accredited college or university for the required experience.
  • Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a non-commissioned officer involving staff work requiring regular use of independent judgment and analysis in applying and interpreting rules and regulations in accordance with agency laws and policies on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.

Desired Or Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Office or similar software to analyze and compile data and prepare reports and other documents.
  • Experience providing customer service in an office setting.

Special Requirements Candidates may be responsible for providing their own transportation as needed to access meetings, remote locations, and job destinations as assigned.
