Our client is an established commercial general contractor serving Maryland, Washington, DC, and Northern Virginia. With decades of experience in the region, this company provides construction management and general contracting services for complex ground-up, renovation, and addition projects.

The company has built a strong reputation within the K-12 education, higher education, municipal, community facility, commercial, and residential markets. Projects range from renovations of existing occupied facilities to large-scale new construction.

The Project Manager will take ownership of projects from preconstruction and procurement through construction and closeout while serving as a primary point of contact between the owner, design team, field staff, subcontractors, and internal leadership.

• Commercial construction Project Management experience
• Ground-up and renovation construction experience
• K-12, higher education, municipal, institutional, or commercial project experience
• Construction management or general contracting experience
• Preconstruction and project planning experience
• Project scheduling and schedule management
• Budgeting and cost control
• Subcontractor procurement and buyout
• Contract and change order management
• RFI and submittal management
• Owner and architect coordination
• Subcontractor and field team coordination
• Quality control and safety oversight
• Project documentation and reporting
• Project closeout experience
• Construction drawings and specifications proficiency
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Construction management software proficiency
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and project stakeholders
