Project Manager
The Project Manager oversees multiple commercial construction projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires an experienced and highly organized leader who can manage several active job sites, coordinate field and office teams, maintain schedules and budgets, and proactively resolve issues in a fast-paced construction environment. The Project Manager communicates effectively with stakeholders at all levels and balances competing priorities while driving successful outcomes across all assigned projects.
Responsibilities- Manage multiple commercial construction projects concurrently from pre-construction through closeout.
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans for each job.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met.
- Oversee day-to-day project operations across several active job sites, ensuring safe and efficient execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify delays or conflicts, and proactively implement corrective actions.
- Track and manage change orders, ensuring proper documentation, pricing, and communication.
- Review construction documents and plans to ensure alignment with scope, schedule, and budget.
- Lead regular project status meetings with internal teams, leadership, and clients to provide clear updates.
- Maintain strong communication with stakeholders, addressing questions, concerns, and issues promptly.
- Ensure effective subcontractor management and contract administration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with design and engineering partners to support site development and interior renovation work.
- Support project closeout activities, including final inspections, punch lists, and turnover documentation.
- Continuously prioritize and multitask across several projects to meet deadlines and performance targets.
- At least 5 years of commercial construction project management experience.
- Demonstrated success managing multiple job sites and projects simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, and project controls.
- Experience with subcontractor management and contract administration.
- Background with a general contractor, with the ability to run multiple jobs at once.
- Hands-on experience with commercial interior fit-outs and interior renovation projects.
- Ability to manage projects in the $1–3 million range and smaller jobs around $600–900K.
- Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar tools.
- Strong project coordination skills, including planning, resource allocation, and documentation.
- Ability to read and work with construction documents, design plans, and engineering specifications.
- Excellent multitasking, time management, and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Confident decision-making and proactive problem-solving abilities.
- Clear and professional communication skills with field teams, office staff, leadership, and clients.

The work involves managing projects typically ranging from $600,000 to $3 million, with a strong focus on growth and winning new work.
