St. Jude Regional School in Rockville Maryland is hiring a Physical Education/7th and 8th Grade History Teacher for the 2026-27 school year. This is a full-time role and will report to the Principal.
The salary range is $44,200 to $47,200 with excellent benefits.

St. Jude Regional Catholic School, a faith-filled Catholic school serving students in PreK–8th grade, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Physical Education Teacher/History for the 2026–2027 school year. The successful candidate will foster a love of physical activity, promote healthy lifestyles, and support the spiritual, social, emotional, and physical development of students within a Catholic educational environment. The candidate will also teach 7th and 8th history.
Responsibilities- Teach Physical Education classes to students in PreK–8th grade.
- Develop and implement engaging lessons that promote fitness, teamwork, sportsmanship, and lifelong healthy habits.
- Create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
- Organize and coordinate school-wide fitness activities and special events.
- Maintain appropriate student records and communicate regularly with parents.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to support the mission and goals of the school.
- Model Christian values and actively support the Catholic identity of the school.
- Bachelor's degree
- Maryland teaching certification or a plan to obtain one within 3–5 years from hire date
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education
- Practicing Catholic preferred
