Part-Time Infant Teacher (1:00 PM–6:00 PM, Monday–Friday)

The Goddard School of Rockville is looking for a warm, nurturing, and dependable Part-Time Infant Teacher to join our incredible team!

As part of our infant teaching team, you'll help create a safe, loving, and engaging environment where our youngest learners thrive.

• Caring for infants with warmth, patience, and responsiveness
• Supporting each baby's individual routines, feeding schedules, diapering, and nap times
• Creating meaningful learning experiences through our proprietary Wonder of Learning curriculum
• Encouraging sensory exploration, language development, and early social-emotional skills
• Building strong, positive relationships with families through daily communication
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized classroom that exceeds licensing standards
• Collaborating with a supportive teaching team to provide exceptional care and education
• Observing and documenting developmental milestones and celebrating each child's progress

• Has a genuine love for working with infants
• Is energetic, dependable, and compassionate
• Enjoys working as part of a collaborative team
• Creates nurturing relationships with children and families
• Brings a positive attitude and a willingness to learn every day

• High school diploma required
• CDA, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
• Previous experience working with infants or young children in a licensed childcare setting preferred
• 90 hour certification in infant & toddlers
• Completion of Maryland state-required pre-service training (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. while caring for young children
