City Year seeks Ameri Corps Members to serve full-time in public schools, supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth. In this education-focused role, you'll provide tutoring, mentor students, assist in classrooms, and lead small-group interventions. You'll collaborate with school staff and a diverse team to create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities

• Provide in-class academic and behavior support to students in partnership with teachers
• Deliver small-group or one-on-one tutoring in core subjects
• Build positive relationships and mentor students to support social-emotional growth
• Track student progress and document interventions and outcomes
• Assist with planning and leading after-school or enrichment activities
• Collaborate with school staff and Ameri
• Corps teammates to meet school goals
• Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and professional development
• Support family and community engagement events at the school
