• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to teach a wide range of courses (English Composition, Literature, Language Arts, World and U.S. History, Government, Economics, Humanities, and Electives), following content standards — curriculum and resources provided.
• Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
• Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
• Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment.
• Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• A growth mindset with the flexibility to pivot and problem-solve as needed.

* We are specifically seeking an educator with a strong background in English Language Arts, including experience teaching literature, reading comprehension, writing, grammar, and analytical thinking. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping students strengthen their communication skills, develop confidence as writers, and foster a lifelong appreciation for reading and learning.

* This is a part-time position with the potential to grow into full-time contingent upon student enrollment.
