Overview
Morton Thomas and Associates, Inc. (AMT), an employee-owned consultant engineering firm, is growing and seeking a highly motivated Entry Level Site / Civil Engineer to join our Site and Infrastructure team in our Rockville, MD or Herndon, VA office. Position will start in May 2026 upon graduation.

In addition to supporting projects in the assigned office, the candidate may be involved with other AMT offices and project opportunities.

Responsibilities- Design of site and infrastructure improvements including grading, utilities, erosion control, stormwater management, site layout, and preparation of calculations and reports
- Support and preparation of construction documents
- Processing construction and permit documents through the regulatory agencies
- Construction support services including site inspections and construction administration duties
- BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
- Technical proficiency in AutoCAD including Civil 3D preferred
- Ability to assist on preparation of engineering studies and reports
- EIT preferred
- Prior internship experience with preparing plans, specifications, and cost estimates preferred
