This is a full‑time position, and requires a TS/SCI/Full Scope Polygraph Clearance.
2HB Incorporated is seeking a Tempest Engineer in order to support its government customer in Annapolis Junction, MD.
Applicant will get to work on a team of TEMPEST engineers and SMEs performing TEMPEST testing and providing TEMPEST engineering recommendations to help ensure the security of our nation's systems. You'll get to work onsite with the customer, integrated into their team to ensure mission success.
Capabilities / Duties:- Ensure that
TEMPESTtestingrequirementsaredefined bythecustomer's Certified TEMPEST Technical Authority (CTTA). - Evaluateengineeringchangeproposal(ECP) packagestoensurethe proposedchangesdo notimpactthe
TEMPEST integrityof thedevice,or if necessary,additional
TEMPEST testing is performedtorecertify thedevice. - Attendtechnicalmeetingswithcryptodeviceusers/customers
CSCM's and vendor partners. - Provide
TEMPESTlabtestingofcertifiedcryptographic devicesto ensureitmeets the current National
TEMPESTstandard. - Perform
TEMPESTFieldtestingofcryptographicequipmenttodiscover vulnerabilitiesinsecure systems. - Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) supportwhenacryptographic device has a TEMPEST vulnerability.
Required:
- Certified TEMPEST Professional Level II (CTP-II)
- 3+ years of experience with TEMPEST testing, and/or TEMPEST manufacturing
- TS/SCI - FSP w/ MPO required ( current CI poly, under 6 yrs)
- Military or IC experience in a relevant technical or RF field is preferred.
