Northrop Grumman Microelectronics Center (NGMC) is seeking a Principal / Sr. Principal Factory Change Management Lead Engineer . This position is located at the Linthicum, MD location.
What You’ll get to Do:
Create procedures and best practices for implementing controlled changes for various components within a new Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) system. Components include but are not limited to Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), Document Control, product specification limit management, operating procedure and certification management
Implement and lead a standardized change control board to communicate and validate planned changes with varying groups of stakeholders
Lead projects aimed at optimizing and standardizingfactory system setup procedures, change implementation and training plans
Create and maintainschedule for implementing various QMS components
Work collaboratively with other engineering teams to understand the needs for change control
This is a dual level requisition which can be filled as a Principal or Sr. Principal Factory Change Management Lead Engineer
Basic Qualifications for Principal Factory Change Management Lead Engineer :
A degree in a STEM area (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) with a minimum of 5 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree, 3 years of experience with a master’s degree, or 0 years of experience with a PhD
Able to support execution of Statement of Work (SOW) components with vendors
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present frequent updates to management
Experience with modern automated factory systems in a semiconductor or microelectronics fab
Experience with business processes, best practices, and Quality Management System (QMS) components for managing changes in a semiconductor or microelectronics fabrication line
Must be willing to work on site 100% of time
Limited travel to local Northrop Grumman facilities may be required
This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen
Must be able to obtain and maintaina US government security clearance per business requirements
