Job Description

Mid‑level Planner‑Scheduler to join X‑energy's Project Controls team. Responsible for schedule management support to X‑energy partners and clients under senior leadership supervision.

• Create, develop, and maintain detailed resource‑loaded schedules based on industry best practices, PWSs, technical proposals, WBSs, and senior guidance.
• Maintain schedule baselines and perform ongoing updates with stakeholder progress and performance data.
• Conduct schedule analysis: critical path, float, near‑critical assessment, what‑if scenarios, variances, and report generation.
• Perform schedule health‑checks/audits following DCMA, GAO, or internal criteria.
• Support risk, issue, and change management through impact analysis.
• Assist proposal development for WBS, schedule, cost, and resource projections.
• Provide training on schedule management and present analyses.
• Lead core tasks independently and mentor junior staff as needed.
• Perform other duties assigned by the manager.

Minimum:
Bachelor’s degree in management, business, engineering, or science.

  III: 5+ years’ experience in schedule or project management.

  IV: 10+ years’ experience.
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies.
• Familiarity with industry best practices for scheduling and health‑check audits.

Preferred:
Experience with Primavera P6, and in nuclear, commercial construction, federal defense, or federal energy industries.

530 Gaither Road, Rockville, MD. 5 days a week in office. 8:00am–5:00pm Monday–Friday. Travel up to 10% as needed.

III: $125,000–$155,000. Level

IV: $150,000–$175,000. Salary offered within these ranges based on qualifications, education, and experience.
