In this role, you will contribute to spacecraft avionics, communications, power systems, embedded electronics, and hardware integration activities while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

You will work hands‑on with cutting‑edge aerospace hardware in a fast‑paced environment supporting national security and spaceflight missions.

Where You’llMake an Impact
  • Support the design, analysis, integration, and testing of spacecraft electrical systems and subsystems
  • Assist with development of avionics hardware, electrical interfaces, harnessing, communications, and power distribution systems
  • Perform schematic capture, electrical analysis, and support PCB layout activities
  • Support integration and testing of spacecraft hardware in lab, cleanroom, and environmental test settings
  • Execute electrical troubleshooting using oscilloscopes, DMMs, logic analyzers, and other test equipment
  • Assist with hardware bring‑up, validation testing, and anomaly resolution activities
  • Develop and maintain electrical documentation including schematics, interface control documents (ICDs), wiring diagrams, and test procedures
  • Support system integration activities with software, electrical, propulsion, and mechanical engineering teams
  • Participate in design reviews, technical trade studies, and engineering assessments
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for electrical processes, testing, and system reliability
What It Takes
  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related technical field
  • 0–3 years of professional engineering experience in aerospace, defense, robotics, automotive, or related high‑reliability industries
  • Fundamental understanding of analog and digital electronics principles
  • Familiarity with circuit design, schematic interpretation, and electrical troubleshooting
  • Experience using laboratory instrumentation such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and signal generators
  • Exposure to embedded systems, avionics, or spacecraft electrical architectures
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills within cross‑functional technical teams
  • Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, iterative engineering environment
Nice-to-Have Experience
  • Experience related to spacecraft, satellites, avionics, robotics, or defense systems
  • Familiarity with spacecraft communication interfaces such as RS-422, RS-485, Space Wire, LVDS, Ethernet, I²C, and SPI
  • Experience with ECAD tools such as OrCAD, Altium, or KiCAD
  • Exposure to FPGA systems, microcontrollers, or embedded software development
  • Experience with electrical simulation tools such as LTspice
  • Familiarity with environmental testing including TVAC, vibration, and EMI/EMC testing
  • Basic scripting or automation experience utilizing Python or similar tools
  • Knowledge of ESD handling procedures and cleanroom operations
  • Participation in aerospace, robotics, or defense‑related engineering projects
What You’llGet
  • Ownership – Contribute directly to the design, integration, and validation of mission‑critical spacecraft electrical systems
  • Innovation – Support development of advanced aerospace and defense technologies enabling next‑generation space operations
  • Impact – Help deliver reliable, flight‑ready hardware supporting national security, civil, and commercial missions
  • Growth – Join a cross‑functional engineering team at the center of spacecraft development, integration, and mission execution
  • Compensation – Competitive salary, equity, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, generous leave, FSA, 401(k) matching, and equity sharing
