Sr Mechanical Engineer PE / Project Manager (Hybrid)
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Manager with a PE license and 10+ years of experience in mechanical building systems design and 3‑5 years of project management overseeing schematics through construction administration. Proven expertise on municipal, federal, and public sector projects.
Responsibilities- Develop HVAC designs from concept through completion of construction.
- Coordinate HVAC design requirements with architecture, structure, and other disciplines.
- Prepare engineering design calculations, mechanical system layouts, and detailed engineering reports.
- Oversee staff, schedules, budgets, scope of work, and construction administration.
- Maintain direct client contact, fostering relationships and supporting business development initiatives.
- Engage in community and industry‑specific organizations.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET‑accredited college or university.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- 10+ years of experience with an MEP or engineering consulting firm, with a mechanical building systems design background on complex projects.
- 3‑5+ years of project management and construction administration experience.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
- Experience with municipal, federal, public sector, justice/civic, transportation/utility infrastructure, and office buildings.
