CACI is seeking a skilled and experienced VTC Engineer (Level
3) to join our dynamic team to support a DoD client in Suitland, MD. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in video telecommunications engineering, project management, and digital A/V systems. This role requires an individual who is comfortable in high-visibility, customer-facing environments and has a proven track record of managing VTC infrastructure life cycles.

• Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert for AV/VTC systems, offering guidance on best practices and emerging technologies to team members.
• Team Leadership: Responsible for leading a team of technicians and engineers to install, maintain, and troubleshoot a wide variety of VTC equipment, including cameras, microphones, video displays, speakers, audio mixers, DVD players, video matrix switches, wires, and cables.
• Project Management: Conduct site surveys to design and install A/V systems based on customer requirements. Conduct routine operational tests and fault isolation on AV/VTC systems and equipment. Perform regular preventative maintenance inspections of AV/VTC equipment.
• User Training: Empower users with knowledge and training on control, interfaces, and use of the audio/visual and VTC equipment.
• System Improvement: Develop plans for re-engineering and replacing legacy systems to improve customer productivity, enhance maintainability, and reduce costs.

• Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a STEM field. 8-10 years of comprehensive experience with VTC A/V systems or 12+ years with at least 3 years as a lead; at least 5 years of project management experience.

  Familiarity with “AMX” series equipment, understanding of DoD and DIA VTC system requirements.
• Clearance: Must have an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Customer Interaction: Comfortable in high-visibility and customer-facing environments; strong communication and multitasking skills; excellent customer service.
• Travel: Ability to travel within the National Capital Region (NCR) in support of UC operations, up to 10% travel.
• Physical Requirements: Must be physically able to lift 50 lbs, crawl, and walk long distances.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Visio and Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Outlook).
• Certifications: Security+ CE certified; CTS, CTS-D, and/or CTS-I certified; CAPM certified.
