Mechanical Manager

Looking for a Mechanical Manager to lead estimating and preconstruction for the mechanical trades on commercial projects. You'll own Division 15 from early budgeting through GMP, working closely with the Lead Estimating Manager to keep mechanical scope aligned with the rest of the project.

What you'll be doing:

• Lead budget, bid, and GMP assembly for the mechanical trade specialization
• Prepare detailed estimates across all design phases, proficient in Division 15
• Coordinate Division 15 scope with all other divisions
• Lead constructability reviews specific to mechanical trades
• Drive value engineering and alternates development for mechanical systems
• Research and compile historical cost data for future estimates
• Identify and align qualified mechanical trade partners for the market sector
• Participate in design progress meetings and client presentations
• Coach and develop junior estimating staff

What you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years estimating experience in commercial construction
• Experience leading bidding and budgeting for mechanical trades specifically
• Strong grasp of safety, quality, constructability, and sustainability standards
• Leadership-level communication skills, comfortable in client-facing settings
