Entry Level Site​/Civil Engineer

AMT is growing and is seeking a highly motivated Entry Level Site / Civil Engineer to join our growing Site / Civil team of design professionals in our Rockville, MD office. Position will start in May 2027 upon graduation. This is an excellent opportunity to work on challenging projects, develop your career, and seek advancement as a Site / Civil Engineer.

In addition to supporting projects in their assigned office, the candidate may be involved with other AMT offices and project opportunities. We provide an Excellent Work / Life Balance and an opportunity to work a Hybrid (Combination of Office and Remote) schedule.

• Support and Preparation of construction documents
• Design of site and infrastructure improvements including grading, utilities, erosion control, stormwater management, site laying including roadway improvements, the preparation of calculations and reports, and site inspections and construction administration duties

• BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
• Technical proficiency in using AutoCAD including Civil 3D and/or Microstation preferred
• Ability to assist on preparation of engineering studies and reports
• EIT preferred
• Prior Internship experience with preparing plans, specifications, and cost estimates preffered
