Private Credit Analyst

We're partnering with an LMM private credit investment firm that's looking to add a Private Credit Analyst to its investment team.

The firm provides customized debt and mezzanine financing solutions to lower-middle-market businesses, working closely with management teams and financial sponsors. The Analyst will have the opportunity to work directly with senior investment professionals across sourcing, underwriting, due diligence, transaction execution, and portfolio management.

• Underwrite new lower-middle-market investment opportunities
• Perform detailed financial and credit analysis of prospective investments
• Build and maintain financial models and investment analyses
• Evaluate company performance, cash flow, leverage, and downside risk
• Conduct industry, company, and market research
• Support due diligence and preparation of investment committee materials
• Assist with transaction structuring and execution
• Monitor existing portfolio companies and provide ongoing credit analysis
• Work closely with senior investment professionals throughout the investment process

• 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, private credit, leveraged finance, credit investing, or a related field
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
• Solid understanding of credit analysis and financial statements
• Strong academic background
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
