Overview

Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Rehabilitation Aide for our Acute Care Rehabilitation department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Rehabilitation Aide, you will:

  • Assist the Physical and Occupational Therapists, as well as the Speech-Language Pathologists, in maintaining a safe environment for therapy.
  • Direct patient care and transporting patients to and from the Therapy department from the nursing units.
  • Assist with treatment and communicate with the health care team and patients to keep the day running for the therapists.
  • Cross cover the Therapy desk and issue equipment; prepare Therapists’ schedules; department organization.
Qualifications
  • High school or GED
  • Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Able to handle a multi-tasking, fast paced environment
  • Experience with paper work and computer software
Work Schedule and Employment Details
  • Employment Type: Per Diem
  • Hours per Week: 8 hrs/week
  • Typical Daily

    Schedule:

    7:00 AM–3:30 PM Monday through Friday
  • Shift Type: Day
  • Weekend Requirements: Minimum of 2 weekend shifts per month
  • Holiday Requirements: Follow company holiday calendar

Pay Range: This role has a flat rate of $23/hr salary discussions will take place during the screening process if the salary range is not displayed or if the position is Per Diem.

FLSA Classification: United States of America (Non-Exempt)
