For over 25 years, Potomac Audiology has been a trusted provider of exceptional hearing healthcare services to patients of all ages. Due to continued growth and increased patient volume, they are expanding their front office team in the Rockville location.

Potomac Audiology is seeking a reliable, professional, and patient-focused Patient Care Coordinator to support their growing schedule and call volume. This role is essential to maintaining a smooth, efficient, and welcoming patient experience.

Position Overview

The Patient Care Coordinator plays a key role in managing a high-volume patient flow and incoming calls in a busy medical office environment. This individual will serve as one of the primary points of contact for patients and must be able to remain organized, calm, and personable in a fast-paced setting.

This position also offers opportunity for growth within the practice. Candidates with insurance experience are highly valued, and individuals interested in learning technician responsibilities over time are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival
  • Answer and manage a high volume of phone calls
  • Schedule and coordinate patient appointments efficiently
  • Collect patient payments and verify necessary information
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Communicate updates promptly with providers and clinical staff
  • Assist with insurance-related tasks (verification experience is a plus)
  • Support general administrative needs of the office
Ideal Candidate
  • Previous front office experience in a medical or healthcare setting preferred
  • Comfortable managing busy phones and patient flow
  • Strong customer service skills with a positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn practice management software
  • Insurance familiarity is a strong plus
  • Interest in growing into a technician role is a bonus
  • Schedule Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
