Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire a Charge/Lead Housekeeper who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.

Responsibilities- Interact daily with patients, public and employees to receive and/or provide information. Assists management team with supervision of the housekeeping staff.
- Assist with department QI initiates.
- Participate in appropriate housekeeping processes and procedures.
- Maintain departmental housekeeping supplies.
- Communicate any issues in a manner consistent with our values.
- Provide a clean environment for all patients, public and employees at Shady Grove Adventist Healthcare.
- Access to Non-Pharmacy medication areas in accordance with the Policy# Security of Medications in Non-Pharmacy Areas.
- Ensure infection control protocols are followed in daily cleans, discharges/transfers and ancillary areas, by following our Eight Step Cleaning Procedures.
- A high school diploma/GED or relevant experience
- 3 plus years of relevant experience. Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to monitor assigned areas for necessary supplies and equipment.
- Basic arithmetic skills in order to maintain linen count
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Hours per Week: 40 hrs/week

7:00 AM–3:30 PM Monday through Friday - Shift Type: Day
- Weekend Requirements: Required every other weekend rotation
- Holiday Requirements: Required/ Rotating Follow company holiday calendar

$19.21 - $24.90
If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
