Job Title:
EKG Technician (Cardiovascular Services Department)
Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced EKG Tech for our Cardiovascular Services Department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.

Responsibilities- Take EKG tracings as ordered by the physician
- Assist patient pre and post procedure
- Administer Holter tests, which monitor patient heart activity for 24 hours
- Explain the function and process of EKG exams to patients prior to the test
- Ensure that all patients are calm and relaxed during the process
- Attach EKG electrodes to patients in order to monitor heart activity and removes them after tests are completed
- Note specific images and places on the test results for physicians to review closely
- Log and reviews test data
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 3 years’ working experience preferred
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Employment Type: Variable Part-time

Every other Sunday 12 hour day shift, 7AM-7:30PM - Shift Type: Day

$18.80 - $24.18
