Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire a Charge/Lead Housekeeper who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.

As a Charge/ Lead Housekeeper, you will:

* Interact daily with patients, public and employees to receive and/or provide information. Assists management team with supervision of the housekeeping staff.

* Assist with department QI initiates.

* Participate in appropriate housekeeping processes and procedures.

* Maintain departmental housekeeping supplies.

* Communicate any issues in a manner consistent with our values.

* Provide a clean environment for all patients, public and employees at Shady Grove Adventist Healthcare.

* Access to Non-Pharmacy medication areas in accordance with the Policy# Security of Medications in Non-Pharmacy Areas.

* Ensure infection control protocols are followed in daily cleans, discharges/transfers and ancillary areas, by following our Eight Step Cleaning Procedures.

Qualified candidates will possess:

* A high school diploma/GED or relevant experience

* 3 plus years of relevant experience. Good written and verbal communication skills.

* Ability to monitor assigned areas for necessary supplies and equipment.

* Basic arithmetic skills in order to maintain linen count

3:00pm-11:30pm Monday through Friday

Required every other weekend rotation

Pay Range:

$19.21 - $24.90

If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
