The Organizational Development Consultant partners with senior leaders, HR, and business stakeholders to design and deliver development initiatives that enhance leadership effectiveness, team performance, and organizational capability. This role supports enterprise change efforts, talent development strategies, and culture-building initiatives.
Essential Job FunctionsLeadership & Team Development
Partner with senior leaders and key stakeholders to design, develop, and implement organizational development initiatives, action plans, programs, and learning materials.
Facilitiate workshops, development sessions, and interventions that strengthen leadership effectiveness and team performance across all levels.
Deliver sessions utilizing assessments and development tools such as Clifton Strengths, EQ-i 2.0, 360 feedback, leader assimilations, Start/Stop/Continue sessions, and team-building activities including Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument.
Provide professional coaching to leaders and teams to support performance and growth.
Change & Organizational Effectiveness
Partner with HR Business Partners, senior leaders, and change management teams to support transformation initiatives.
Conduct role clarity sessions, SWOT analyses, root cause analyses, and skills gap assessments.
Support initiatives that improve team alignment, effectiveness, and organizational health.
Engagement & Talent Development
Collaborate with department leaders to design mentoring, sponsorship, and employee engagement programs and events.
Support the talent review process, including administration and analysis of 9-box potential assessments.
Measurement & Continuous Improvement
Monitor, evaluate, and report on program effectiveness and organizational impact.
Use data and feedback to continuously improve development initiatives.
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Learning & Development, Organizational Design, or a related field required.
Minimum of 8 years of experience consulting and facilitating leadership and team development workshops.
Professional coaching certification
Certifications in assessments such as DiSC, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, EQ-i 2.0, Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument, or Clifton Strengths preferred.
HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR preferred.
Travel required up to 60%.
