Base pay range$/yr - $/yr
Overview:Provide technical and administrative direction for personnel performing software development tasks, including reviewing work products for correctness, adherence to design concepts, user standards, and progress according to schedules. Coordinate with the Project and/or Program Manager to ensure problem resolution and user satisfaction. Make recommendations for approval of major systems installations if needed. Prepare milestone status reports and deliver system concept presentations to colleagues, subordinates, and end user representatives.
Work closely with programmers to ensure proper implementation of program and system specifications. Supervise and direct support staff daily.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 5 years of relevant IT customer support experience. Additional experience can substitute for the degree.
- Technical computer and customer service skills.
- Thorough knowledge of the software development lifecycle, concepts, milestones, and tasks.
- Strong interpersonal and time management skills with the ability to adapt and prioritize in a dynamic environment.
- Effective verbal and electronic communication skills across various staff levels with different technological understanding.
- Certifications in one or more of the following are required:
- ITIL v3 or higher
- Microsoft Operations Framework (MOF) Certificate
- Ability to obtain agency suitability clearance before start date.
