Brief Job OverviewThe Data Strategy and Analytics team at USP is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our advanced analytics team. This role focuses on investigating business problems, developing and testing hypotheses, and leveraging data to generate actionable insights. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and business strategists, presenting findings to senior leadership to inform strategic decisions.

As part of our mission to advance scientific rigor and public health standards, you will play a vital role in increasing global access to high-quality medicines through public standards and related programs. Business Analyst, Advanced AnalyticsResponsibilities:
- Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement through data-driven insights.
- Develop and test hypotheses to address complex business challenges.
- Perform descriptive and diagnostic analytics using company and industry data.
- Create compelling data visualizations and dashboards using Tableau.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and IT team to ensure project delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and actionable outcomes.
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of our mission, commitment to excellence through inclusive and equitable behaviors and practices, ability to quickly build credibility with stakeholders, along with the following competencies and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in business analytics or business reporting.
- Intermediate SQL skills, including joins, unions, and aggregations.
