Base-2 Solutions is looking for a system/network administrator that provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems. The candidate will manage IT system infrastructure and related processes, provide day-to-day operations support, monitoring and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc. They will deliver Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) support, manage escalation and communication to agency management and internal customers, support dispatch systems and hardware issues, configure and manage virtual and storage environments, Linux, UNIX, and Windows operating systems, install/upgrade OS software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity, configure virtual, storage and network components, and implement OS enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
Responsibilities- Configure and manage Linux/CentOS operating systems and install/upgrade OS software, implementing OS enhancements.
- Troubleshoot, maintain integrity of, and configure network components.
- Support the design of systems, mission architecture and associated hardware.
- Analyze and resolve complex problems related to server hardware, applications and software integration.
- Experience with system monitoring tools such as HP Tools/One View, Site Scope, etc.
- Virtualization experience.
- Team collaboration and issue tracking using Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence), Git Hub and Service Now.
- Ten (10) years of experience as a system/network administrator.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Five (5) years of additional system/network administrator experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
- TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.
