We are seeking an experienced ERP Systems Administrator to own the ongoing support, optimization, and enhancement of a modern Epicor ERP environment within a manufacturing organization. This role serves as the primary technical resource for the ERP platform, partnering with business stakeholders across multiple departments to improve processes, support users, and drive system enhancements.
The ideal candidate combines strong Epicor expertise with SQL and project management experience and enjoys working closely with end users to deliver practical business solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Administer, maintain, and enhance the Epicor ERP environment.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for ERP-related issues, troubleshooting, and user support.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement system enhancements.
- Support ERP upgrades, new functionality, and ongoing system optimization.
- Manage SQL databases, data imports/exports, reporting, and other technical ERP functions.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data queries to support business operations.
- Monitor system health, performance, and reliability while proactively addressing issues.
- Assist in reducing manual processes by improving ERP utilization and automation.
- Support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning for the ERP environment.
- Administer user security, permissions, and access while providing end-user training and system guidance.
- Participate in ERP-related projects from planning through implementation.
- 5+ years of hands‑on Epicor ERP administration or support experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with Epicor E10 and/or Kinetic.
- Strong Microsoft SQL Server knowledge, including SQL query development and reporting.
- Experience supporting ERP upgrades, system enhancements, and business process improvements.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
- Project coordination or project management experience is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered.
