Tier 1 Data Center Technician; Active Secret Clearance

Role Overview

Clear Creek Federal is seeking a Tier 1 Data Center Technician to support a federal client in Beltsville, MD. This is an onsite role with a day shift schedule, responsible for monitoring and maintaining the server environment, communicating with stakeholders, and collaborating with Systems Administrators.

• Monitor and maintain the server environment
• Perform server reboots
• Troubleshoot server problems
• Document changes and issues
• Communicate with stakeholders and collaborate with Systems Administrators to resolve issues

This role requires a strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and effective teamwork skills. Knowledge of IT Service Management tools, Microsoft 365 suite, and VMware vSphere is a plus.

• Degree in IT or 1-3 years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure, data centers, or similar help desk experience
• Ability to perform the required shifts
• Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools or ticketing systems, including Service Now
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite such as Outlook, SharePoint, Word, Excel
• Ability to perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision
• Strong attention to detail
• Professional interaction with other employees, customers, and suppliers
• Effective teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues on all assignments
• Ability to work independently while recognizing the importance of communication and coordination with other employees and organizations
