Data Migration Specialist

Our advanced nuclear client is seeking a Data Migration Specialist to support the legacy contract import process by migrating existing agreements from various repositories into SAP Ariba Contracts. This role focuses on data preparation, formatting, and the technical execution of bulk uploads to ensure historical records are accurately maintained for reporting and future contract management.

• Data Preparation & Formatting: Convert legacy contract data into structured CSV load files.
• Metadata Mapping: Accurately map legacy data fields to corresponding fields within SAP Ariba project templates.
• Hierarchy Management: Organize contracts into appropriate hierarchical structures, defining relationships between Master Agreements and Sub-agreements.
• Technical Execution: Assemble ZIP files in compliance with required structure and Unicode standards to ensure successful uploads.
• Testing & Troubleshooting: Conduct small batch test loads to validate accuracy
• Monitor status logs in Ariba Administrator
• Identify and correct formatting or data errors to maintain integrity

• Minimum high school diploma (or equivalent) required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a data role
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including managing large datasets, data extraction and transformation and creating and formatting CSV files
• Experience working with PDFs and extracting relevant data into Excel
• Ability to process high volumes of data from PDFs into structured, predefined Excel formats
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple data sources efficiently
• Ability to gather and interpret information from SharePoint and other repositories
• High attention to detail with field ordering, unique identifiers and syntax requirements for bulk uploads
• Strong technical aptitude, including the ability to interpret data dictionaries and troubleshoot upload errors
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with both onsite and remote teams
• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder

• Experience with SAP Ariba
• Familiarity with Power BI
• Experience working with administrative permissions (e.g., Bulk Contract Administrator or Contract Administrator roles)
