Field Services Engineer

Field Service Engineer | Enterprise Networking | Control Room Technology | AV-over-IP | Washington DC

We're partnering with a leading technology manufacturer to recruit several Field Service Engineers to support the continued growth of its US business in the Washington DC area.

The company designs and delivers mission-critical workplace and control room technology used by organisations across government, utilities, transportation, finance, broadcast and other critical infrastructure environments.

This is a hands-on, customer-facing role supporting the installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of enterprise hardware and networking solutions across customer sites throughout the US.

• Install, configure and commission enterprise technology solutions
• Provide on-site and remote technical support
• Troubleshoot hardware, networking and system issues
• Deliver preventative maintenance and break-fix support
• Work closely with customers to ensure successful deployments
• Travel to customer sites across the region (approximately 50–75%)

• Experience as a Field Service Engineer, Field Technician, Installation Engineer or similar
• Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, LAN, DHCP, VLANs)
• Customer-facing technical support or installation experience
• Experience working with enterprise hardware, AV, networking or IT infrastructure
• Exposure to Cisco networking, multicast, AV-over-IP or systems integration would be advantageous
• A proactive attitude with a genuine desire to learn and develop
