Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional ISSO experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of fourteen (14) years experience as an ISSO/ISSE on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
- 2 years experience hardened operating Systems (OS) loads
- 2 years experiencePL3, PL4, and PL5 solutions
- 2 years experience analyzing proprietary data formats
- 2 years experience DCID 6/3 documentation process
- CISSP Certification or willingness to obtain is required prior to start.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with current polygraph is required.

We are currently seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) for an IC mission in the Annapolis Junction, MD area.
Responsibilities may include:
- Provide support for a program, organization, system, or enclave's information assurance program.
- Provide support for proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies.
- Perform or review technical security assessments of computing environments to identify points of vulnerability, non-compliance with established Information Assurance (IA) standards and regulations and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Provide security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management. Recommends system-level solutions to resolve security requirements.
- Provide configuration management (CM) for information systems security software, hardware, and manages changes to systems and assess the security impact of those changes.
