Workers’ Compensation Defense Attorney
Pay: $ – $ per year
Note: This position requires employees to be on-site four days per week at our client’s Rockville (Shady Grove), MD office, with one day of remote flexibility, subject to hearing schedules.
Note: The qualified candidate for this position must have an active Maryland law license and 2+ years of experience handling workers’ compensation cases.

Job Description- Handle workers’ compensation cases from intake through resolution
- Represent clients before the Maryland Workers’ Compensation Commission
- Conduct hearings, depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements
- Provide legal counsel and develop tailored case strategies
- Maintain strong client communication and deliver effective advocacy
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff to ensure excellent case management
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Maryland (required)
- 2+ years of experience in Maryland workers’ compensation law, including hearings before the Commission
- Strong oral advocacy, negotiation, and legal writing skills
- Ability to manage a busy caseload and stay organized
