Budow and Noble, P.C. – Associate Attorney (Litigation)

Budow and Noble, PC is seeking an associate attorney to join our team. We are a full‑service litigation firm, with a focus on insurance defense. Although our practice is varied, we are often defending our clients from all types of tort and personal injury lawsuits. We are leaders in the industry and are well known for the results we provide to our clients.

Our attorneys handle all aspects of litigation, from counseling our clients with an initial evaluation through trial or appeal.

Our office is located in Rockville, Maryland and we practice in all courts in Maryland and the District of Columbia. We are looking for applicants who are motivated and committed trial attorneys, and who value our culture of respect, diversity and inclusion, and collaboration to meet our goals.

• Judicial clerkship or at least 2 years litigation experience preferred, but not required.
• Maryland bar admission; DC bar admission or eligible to waive into DC.
• Excellent verbal, written and legal research skills.
• Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
• Detailed and organized team player, who can also work independently.

• Manage cases from inception through conclusion, including appellate work.
• Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, opinion letters, and other correspondence.
• Conduct legal research.
• Represent clients and appear at depositions, hearings, bench/jury trials and appeals in all Maryland and DC courts.
• Client, witness and expert interaction.
• Negotiate settlements and terms of agreements.

• The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $115,000, commensurate with experience.
