The Village at Rockville is seeking a skilled and dependable Full-Time Maintenance Generalist to help create a safe, welcoming, and beautifully maintained environment for the residents who call our community home. Pay Range$29.50 – $37.00/hour

What You'll DoAs a Maintenance Generalist, you'll help ensure our community remains safe, functional, and inviting by:
- Performing routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance throughout the community
- Troubleshooting and repairing electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical systems
- Responding promptly to maintenance requests from residents and team members
- Completing work orders accurately and efficiently
- Conducting inspections and identifying maintenance concerns before they become larger issues
- Assisting with apartment turnovers and community renovations
- Maintaining grounds, equipment, and common areas to the highest standards
- Following all safety procedures and regulatory requirements
- Supporting emergency response and on-call maintenance needs as assigned
- Previous experience in building maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related skilled trade
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general building systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple responsibilities
- Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to resident satisfaction
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and materials as needed
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to read and speak English
