Program Manager – Enterprise Data Privacy Office (EDPO)
The Program Manager is responsible for managing strategic initiatives, privacy program implementation, and enterprise-wide education and awareness efforts. The role serves as a strategic partner and trusted resource, collaborating across all organizational levels to support effective execution of FINRA’s privacy objectives.
Essential Job Functions- Manage EDPO program activities, including new initiatives, projects, strategic objectives, and ongoing program execution.
- Lead the creation and implementation of the enterprise-wide privacy training and awareness program for all employees and contractors.
- Support ongoing implementation of the Privacy Risk Management Framework.
- Oversee the Information Manager Program, including policy development, reviews, and stakeholder engagement.
- Prepare quarterly and bi‑weekly reports to senior management and the FINRA Board.
- Manage vendor relationships and contract management for training and content providers.
- Assist in workforce planning, budgeting, policy compliance, and acquisition initiatives.
- Demonstrate FINRA’s values and collaborate to further the mission of investor protection and market integrity.
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of seven (7) years of experience.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in privacy, compliance, or program management roles, preferably in a regulated industry.
- Experience in program or project management within a corporate setting.
- Experience drafting, developing, and maintaining policies and procedures in a corporate or regulatory environment.
- Experience preparing presentations, reports and metrics for senior management.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to present complex topics to diverse stakeholders.
- Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with privacy regulations, standards, and best practices is a plus.
- CIPP/US preferred, but not required.
- Hybrid work environment with defined in‑person presence requirements.
- Extended hours as needed.
- Occasional travel required.
Salary ranges vary by location (CO/FL/TX: $95,300–$171,800; IL/PA: $104,900–$189,400; MA/MD/VA/DC: $109,600–$197,600; NY/NJ: $109,600–$206,200). Compensation is based on skill set, experience, education, and market considerations.
